The Society’s Young Professionals Network has been busy hosting events to try and bring Society members together. The YPN believes strongly that we build solidarity by bringing members together from different Locals for fun and networking.
On Saturday, July 11, the YPN was thrilled to invite our young professionals to cheer on their favourite teams at a FIFA Watch Party and Networking event in downtown Toronto.
Event attendees hailed from locals across the Society. Between cheering on the teams, the excitement of the door prize raffle, and the general atmosphere of the Flatiron, a Firkin Pub, young professional members had a great time networking and socializing with new friends across locals.
On September 12, the YPN hosted a Dodgeball Social & Networking Event at the YMCA in Oakville, bringing YPN members and their friends and families together for an afternoon of friendly competition, fun, and connection.
The event featured a series of friendly and competitive dodgeball matches, with participants showing plenty of energy and team spirit throughout the afternoon. Whether competing on the court or cheering from the side-lines, everyone had a great time and enjoyed the opportunity to connect with members in a relaxed setting.
Following the games, attendees gathered for dinner and refreshments, providing a great opportunity for members to continue the conversations and network outside of the workplace.
